Episode 2: How Leaders Can Help Their Employees Become More Committed

I’ve always been an entrepreneurial type. Translation: I’ve been one that doesn’t always function well under the leadership of others. In this episode, I share how some of my own personal early experiences with leadership shaped my leadership worldview. You’ll hear firsthand how leaders can help a person grow, gently uncover weaknesses and help their employees to become more committed to the workplace and vision.

I’ll also share briefly about my own start as a leader and how my view on leadership has evolved over time. Above all else, I have come to realize that leadership has brought me to a greater appreciation of people. Great leaders create cultures that proactively recharge their employees and company.

In this episode, you’ll hear about:

  • My first leader and how I was, “stealing from her business”
  • The leader who was uninvolved until a mistake was made
  • Being a passive leader and my early experience as a leader
  • What angers me the most about leadership
